Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the author of our national anthem(National Anthem), is both a poet who immortalized the great struggle in the war of independence with his poems and a patriot who contributed to the struggle with the tasks he undertook in the war of independence. The transfer of Mumtaz personalities who have made great efforts and contributions in the struggle for the liberation of our country and the foundations of the New Republic of Turkey to future generations is of great importance for the continuation of our national unity and for our historical consciousness. Especially in recent years, a large number of works are being carried out on different platforms to introduce our national poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy to the younger generations and to keep his literary aspect alive. Posters are being prepared to announce these events to the masses. Banners are mass media that hang where crowds can see. At present, which we call the information age, it is not easy to be noticed in a large number of communication elements, both electronic and printed. In order to attract the attention of the reader, especially in banner studies, it is necessary to prepare the visual design dimension very well, as a priority than the content. All kinds of Banner works that are similar to each other cannot provide the attention that the reader needs to look and read Due to their stereotypical structure and awareness. For this reason, it is necessary to put forward painstaking work by going outside the existing ones and using visual design techniques very well. In the article, randomly selected examples from posters prepared for our national poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy were evaluated in terms of Visual Communication Design. Evaluations have been made from a personal perspective within the framework of graphic design concepts from past to present
