Abstract

The poems written by patriotic poets and patriotic poets have a great influence on the struggle for independence of the countries. The struggle for independence succeeds give the struggle to all people in country together. Turkish National Anthem, written by the patriotic poet Akif, inspired the society in the struggle for independence of the Turks. The poet of this poem, Mehmet Akif, received a good education with the support of his family, took part in different trainings and lastly worked as a veterinarian. Akif played an active role in the struggle for independence and also took part in the parliament as a Burdur deputy. Akif participated in the contest for the writing of the Turkish National Anthem, wrote the anthem for two days in Taceddin Dervish Lodge and did not accept any awards. In addition, Akif wrote a very famous book called Sahafat. In 1937 Pakistan became an independent state. And depart from India. Pakistan's patriotic poet Allama Mohammed Iqbal had a great role in Pakistan's struggle for independence. In addition, Iqbal was very influenced by the Turkish people’s struggle and was inspired by the struggle of the Turks. During the War of Independence, Iqbal held rallies and organized aid organizations to support the Turkish people. Akif and Iqbal are poets who are contemporaries of each other and their ideas are very similar and Akif and İkbal’s poets praised each other in written sources.
