Abstract

The article talks about the historical development of the idea of the cult of knowledge as a key priority of the internal policy of Kazakhstan. Based on research, the author proves that this idea, deeply penetrating all of Abai's work, was picked up and actively promoted by the leaders of the Kazakh intelligentsia since the end of the 19th century and today continues to be a priority goal of the national education system
